ABetter Heating & Air was founded January 27, 1993 by Diane Mullen and Michael J. Paino. Mike Paino, their son, joined them after. Diane sought to have a service organization which was much better than the different firms, and would treat its buyers with respect. This is where the name came from. Michael J. coined the business slogan, “Built on Expert Service and Honesty.” This is proudly displayed on each of our service cars. Michael J. is currently utilizing his law experience and life’s experience training other contractors how to better their companies and meet the state needs for continuing education.

ABetter Heating & Air is a member of Conditioned Air Association of Georgia CAAG and Air Conditioning Contractors of America ACCA. We were known in 2002 as ACCA Residential Excellence Award Finalist.We have assisted with all the Toys for Tots campaign for the previous 10 years, have assisted build the Fayette Field of Hope and have donated to additional children's charities. Through MAACA we have additionally aided build 3 Habitat for Humanity homes.We provide excellent services on all residential air conditioning units and furnaces, dual fuels and heat pumps. We repair, upgrade and replace existing systems. We will also install additional units for home expansions and renovations.

Preventative Maintenance

ABetter offers a program that offers you the benefit of regular maintenance and filter changes twice a year for one low price. As a PM55 customer you receive the Fall Furnace Plus, Spring AC Tune Up, $55 Diagnostic rate, 10% discount parts and labor, and even deeper discount on PM related parts. The PM visits include 15 point inspection and standard filter change, specialty filters are available at extra cost.

If you have one system - $149.00 per year.

If you have two systems - $219.00 per year.

If you have three systems - $289.00 per year.

Service and Repair

Our basic diagnostic fee is $79.00. You will get a thorough diagnosis of your problem, and an upfront price to repair the problem. The service technician will not procede past the initial charges without your consent. This gives you peace of mind of knowing how much your repair will cost before any work is done.

Unit Replacement

ABetter will be happy to provide you, free of charge a quote for any system replacement. Please call the office to schedule a time for an in house visit. The process will take about an hour and the home owner will need to be present to discuss findings and options.

Indoor Air Quality

It may not be something you think of often but the quality of your indoor air is very important to your health. ABetter can offer you many products to control the quality of the air you breath. Whole-house filtration, humidification and even a zone temperature control.
