Greenwood Furnace was established in 1921.Monte Jostrom began the Greenwood Furnace Co. in Greenwood region of Seattle in 1921 and built a reputation for providing standard products and services. That custom was further processed and improved upon by Pat Martin who purchased the company in 1990.

Over the next 7 years, Greenwood Heating and Air Conditioning became the 46th quickest growing business in Washington. They moved to Kirkland to expand the top quality service that Seattle had been enjoying for a long time to the Eastside. In 1999 Ms. Martin sold Greenwood Heating to Service Experts. Service Experts is a national chain of service businesses with over 200 places and controlled by Lennox International. In 2014 Greenwood Heating has expanded into the Kitsap region by opening a unique place in Port Orchard. We might today be serving the Kitsap, Gig Harbor and Poulsbo regions.
