Founded in 1999, EMS Ltd specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of air conditioning, heating and process cooling systems for the commercial and industrial sectors.

Our clients range from local businesses to multinational corporations. We operate throughout central and southern England and Wales from our offices in Hereford and Southampton.

Our technical team has over 50 years’ experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. We have the skills and expertise necessary to offer advice on either your existing or proposed new plant. With our offices based in Hereford and Southampton we are able to deliver our services across the UK and Wales.

50% of our turnover is the provision of service and maintenance services of air conditioning systems for end user clients. This includes providing peace of mind in relation to the ever expanding environmental legislation, by ensuring compliance with all air conditioning, refrigeration and industrial cooling regulations.

We have our own directly employed engineers experienced and qualified in air conditioning, refrigeration and gas/oil fired heating, all of whom are on hand in our Hereford and Southampton offices to offer advice on current legislation, plus potential for saving energy.

We are able to advise and continually improve the efficiency of kit improving its performance, reducing running costs and reducing breakdown expenditure and call-outs.

Traditionally air conditioning, process cooling and heating maintenance contracts are structured around a planned programme of routine maintenance, based on a number of visits per annum at a fixed annual cost. Additional costs are incurred for repair costs, usually based on an hourly rate plus mileage. These additional costs can, in some cases, add up to more than the cost of the routine servicing.
