Geothermal Heat Pumps: Innovative Carrier geothermal heat pumps tap into the earth's surface, using the energy and relatively consistent heat found in the earth, a pond, or well water instead of using outside air like traditional heat pumps. Geothermal heat pumps provide both cooling and heating to your home and are able to maintain the highest efficiency on even the coldest winter nights or the hottest summer days.

Furnaces: No matter what type of fuel or heat source your home has, there's an innovative Carrier gas furnace or oil furnace for you. Our Infinity® 96 furnace is so efficient at using fuel, the only furnace more efficient at burning fuel is the Sun. Carrier furnaces are highly efficient - the higher the AFUE rating, the greater the efficiency.

Gas Furnaces: Heating and air conditioning systems are the biggest users of energy in the home, up to 75% of the utility bill. A new high efficiency furnace can save up to 50% in operating costs over a ten year old furnace. Many 1990 and earlier model furnaces have efficiencies of 65% or less. The minimum efficiency furnace that can be sold in the United States today is 78%. Furnaces are available that are up to 96.6% efficient.

Fan Coils: The fan coil is the indoor component of a heat pump system. It includes the fan and the heating/cooling coil. The fan coil is designed for a particular refrigerant, so it must match with the heat pump. A variable speed fan coil can improve comfort with improved humidity control and warmer heating temperatures, and save energy in cooling.

Evaporator Coils: The right evaporator coil is vital for getting the most out of your air conditioner or heat pump.
