Vent-Axia origination is at the heart of most historical breakthroughs that have formed the HVAC industry we recognize now. Our innovation of the first electrically-operated window ventilator in 1936 was a noticeable landmark. It was furthermore the beginning of the Vent-Axia story.

In this era, one of our first and the most important client was Sir Winston Churchill. During the dark days of World War II, Vent-Axia were responsible for placing the V in ventilation, forming the proper air quality for one of our first and the most important clients at  Number 10 Downing Street.Sir Winston Churchill .

During 1961, we released Standard Range extractor fan. This design classic still remains performing well in hundreds of projects across the world now. In 1992 we introduced the world's initial SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) fan, creating the protection benchmark for ventilation in domestic shower and bathroom conditions.

This story of first begins  with all the LuminAir in 1994 - the authentic patented combination fan and light product - the LoWatt energy  effective, DC motored domestic range in 1997 and in 2003 the Air-Minder - a leading edge whole-house ventilation system with an key heat exchanger.

In 2001 we integrated with Roof Units and acquired Baxi Clean Air Systems in 2004 to establish Vent-Axia as the obvious brand leader for single source HVAC solutions. Recently, our award-winning Lo-carbon initiative has forced ecological issues to the best air movement agenda. And we mark 2008 as the business behind the many effective on-demand ventilation programs ever. The Sentinel Totus D-ERV (Demand Energy Recovery Ventilation) is an exact answer for recovering a remarkable 90% of the energy that would otherwise be wasted. Along with means, Vent-Axia technologies are behind an extended list of impressive projects from buildings in Her Majesty's Royal Estates to the White Home.

Sometimes, our customers look for 'fit and forget' products - those that sit in the background and automatically do their job with only the minimum of user control necessary. At other times, easy to use manual overrides or wireless remote control systems are important to give users the finely-tuned control they require.

From the initial design concept, we refine the products we build to ensure they meet the highest quality and performance standards.In our own BEAB approved laboratory we test for airflow, pressure development, sound characteristics, electrical integrity, mechanical safety and electro-mechanical compatibility. We then evaluate performance against internationally recognised criteria.
