All of our engineers are highly trained, friendly professionals, and F-Gas registered in compliance with UK legislation. Established in 1994 by our current managing director Richard Andrew, Cold Air Ltd. initially started out as R.A. Refrigeration. This is why we are registered with the industry watchdog REFCOM, and our commitment to environmentally sustainable practices means that any reclaimed or recovered refrigerants are resealed in bottles and sent directly to our gas supplier for safe disposal or cleaning and re-use. F-GAS Regulations

On the 4th July 2011 legislation was introduced to ensure that any person working on Refrigeration or Air Conditioning equipment must be F-Gas registered, for installation, service or maintenance. This was introduced to protect the environment and reduce the CFC, HCFC refrigerants to the atmosphere.

Cold Air Ltd attained this some seven months early to ensure all of our existing customers that our standards were above what some of our competitors deliver. R22 reclaiming of refrigerant, or any other refrigerant is reclaimed into sealed bottles and returned for safe disposal or cleaning and re use by our Gas Supplier. All necessary paperwork completed and copies left with the customer as proof of responsible waste management.
