United Refrigeration began operations in 2001 and since then have built up a reputation for being a professional and reliable contractor within the industry.

We are a family run business that can boast over 50 years of combined experience in both refrigeration and air-conditioning. The company consists of 5 qualified service/maintenance engineers and 4x install teams that posess:

Fgas Certified, Airside passes for London heathrow & London Gatwick Airports, CSCS Cards showing qualifications and experience, As well as the above skills, we follow a strict health and safety policy.

United Refrigeration is able to provide service, maintenance, installation and commissioning for all types of equipment from: Single splits A/C, VRV A/C, Commercial Refrigeration Single & central plant systems. DX cooling / Heating systems for AHU package systems.

We are based on the South Coast of England the main areas in which we cover are Hampshire, Surey, Dorset, Sussex, London & The Isle Of Wight. F - Gas Requirements

Under the European F Gas Regulation (842\2006) owners of Stationary Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment containing HFC Refrigerants have an obligation to maintain system records. Records must be kept for each system with more than 3kg of HFC Refrigerants. This is a legal obligation from 4th July 2007. The records must include the following information.

The quanties and type of F Gas Refrigerants installed in each system, any quanties of refrigerants added. The quantity of refrigerant recovered during servicing, maintenance and final disposal. Other relevant information including the identification of the company or technician who preformed the servicing or maintenance, as well as the dates and results of leakage checks and leakage detection system checks. Name of the operator. These records must be made available on request to the competent authority and to the commission.

Leak Checks

Leak checks must be carried out: At least annually for applications with 3kg or more of F Gas Refrigerant. Leak checks to be carried out by F Gas Certified (Qualified) personel. If a leak is detected and repaired a further check must be carried out within one month to ensure the repair has been effective. A record of maintenance and servicing activity must be kept for each system.
