HVAC Installation in Salem, Oregon

Whether you are building a new house, building an addition to your existing house or if your home doesn’t currently have a heating an air conditioning system, we can tailor a solution to fit your needs. Start-Ups: Once we complete the installation of a new system we assign a service technician to do the start up. Many HVAC companies allow their installation teams to do the start up. We strongly believe that a service technician is best qualified to perform the start up during which he can also inspect the entire installation.

HVAC Repair & Replacement in Salem

Our service technicians are highly skilled and know how to correctly troubleshoot your heating and air conditioning system. They aren’t paid commissions so your best interests are their only motivation. If a major repair is needed, we will give you all of the available options so that you can decide whether it is in your best interest to repair the equipment.

If your system is in need of replacement or if it is old and inefficient and you want to replace it before something happens we will be happy to give you an estimate. If you have more than one company come out to your house you’ll notice how much longer we take than other companies gathering information examining your home and your existing system. It’s important for us to look at your duct system, your existing electrical and wiring and any other problems that might exist. A system can only be efficient and perform the way it was designed to if it is installed properly

Preventative Maintenance

Your systems Fall and Spring check-ups are important not only to maintain the energy efficiency of your equipment and prevent equipment failures, but also to make sure your equipment is operating safely so your family has peace of mind. City Public Service recommends having only a licensed professional contractor clean the air conditioner in the summer and perform regular maintenance on the furnace during the fall - every year. They agree maintenance will help keep your utility bill low and reduces the number of breakdowns.

Tax Credits IRS 2011

Tax Credit Extension

As part of the recently passed tax bill, the 25C tax extension for residential high efficiency property has been extended for one year. The maximum tax credit that can be claimed has been reduced from $1500 to $500 for 2011. In addition, the 2011 tax credits have placed maximum amounts that can be claimed for the various components of the HVAC system, such as a $150 maximum tax credit for a 95% gas furnace and $300 for an air conditioner or heat pump. These component maximum amounts are additive to the $500 maximum lifetime tax credit. Most of the HVAC qualifying efficiency levels have remained the same. The only exceptions are boilers and oil furnaces, where the qualifying efficiency has been increased from 90 AFUE to 95 AFUE. The following chart summarizes the difference between the 2009-10 tax credits and the newly passed 2011 tax credits. Changes in the tax credits for 2011 are highlighted in red
