HVAC Services

Air Conditioning - I've chosen four lines from the Rheem catalog of products that I think make a lot of sense in this part of the country. They're all designed and built for quality and reliability, and offer a pretty broad range of energy efficiency. You may want to give serious consideration to the more efficient systems. While they may appear to be more expensive to purchase, they are also more likely to be eligible for substantial government rebates because the government is trying to get America to use our energy more efficiently.

Heating - While Rheem makes dozens of models, (and I'll be perfectly happy to sell you anything from their catalog), I've chosen a limited set of Furnaces that I think work particularly well in this part of the country. Like the Air Conditioners, they're all tough and reliable, and specially selected to meet common price points. I always try to encourage my customers to buy the most efficient furnaces in their price range because I know that they'll continue to save money for many years, but I think you'll be happy with my prices no matter what your choice.

Water Heaters - Rheem makes great water heaters. The four models listed here are some of my favorites, and while they tend to be the top of their respective lines, they also feature the kind of quality and technical innovation that has made Rheem a household name all over the world. I know you'll appreciate the efficiency, quick recovery, and long, trouble-free life that these units offer, and I can give them to you at an installed price that you'll find hard to beat.

Humidifiers - Is your house as dry as an old stick in winter? If your room humidifiers just aren't doing the job, you may want to consider a whole house humidifier. I carry a full line of Humidifiers from Aprilaire. They're installed directly onto your heating and cooling system, and and many of them feature digital humidity control. Because humidity is measured relative to the outside temperature, your Aprilaire Digital Humidity Control constantly measures the Relative Humidity in your home and optimizes it for your comfort.

Air Filtration - Do you suffer from allergies or asthma? Do you have good and bad days depending on the pollen or mold count? Do you have pets? Are you concerned about airborne bacteria and viruses? Does it seem that you have to dust more than you'd like? If any of these things are true for you, you may want to consider a more robust electonic filtration system. According to the Lung Association, most people don't realize that pollution can be worse inside their houses than outdoors. The American College of Allergists estimates that up to 50% of illnesses are caused or aggravated by poor indoor air quality.

The average person inhales over 3,500 gallons of air every day, and a cubic foot of indoor air can easily contain millions of particles of mold, pollen, dust, spores, smoke, and pet dander. Most of these particles can be measured in microns, much too small to be captured by a standard furnace filter. These particles are circulated thoughout your home every time the fans go on, and as the levels of these irritants build up in the air, they can trigger allergies, cause headaches, dry eyes, nasal congestion, lung irritation, fatigue, and other unpleasant symptoms.

I carry two lines of Air Filtration, one from Rheem, one from Aprilaire. Both perform exceptionally well, and require a lot less maintenence than conventional filters. Both are electronic, meaning that they ionize the passing airstream and use a powerful electrostatic field to capture passing particles as small as a few microns in size. There are differences in the two units, which I will be happy to explain to you, so one unit may fit your situation better than the other. If your house is prone to things like mold, I also carry a line of ultraviolet sterilizers that can be added to the filters. This is the same technology used in surgical suites to help prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses.

Additional Information

As someone who is in the field every day, I know how stressful it is to discover that a core system in your home needs major repairs or even replacement. In these tough economic times, many people find big unplanned expenses to be a lot more than an inconvienience... in fact they're a problem. Rheem has been looking at this and has agreed to arrange for a suite of generous financing plans for my customers.

There are quite a few plans with many options available, so I'm fairly sure we can find something that fits your situation. Feel free to ask me about them when I see you. This committment from Rheem is especially important now because Congress decided to allow the $1,500 tax credits for upgrading to a more efficient system to expire at the end of 2010. There are, however, still some tax rebates and other discounts available through me, so don't miss your chance to save a good bit now and thousands in lower utility bills in the years to come by upgrading.

Getting Your Money Back - If you're willing to spend a few extra minutes with me, I'll be happy to run an Energy Savings and Return on Investment Calculation for you. I think you'll be surprised at how quickly you can get your money back by choosing a high-efficiency system.
