Ventec Services Limited offer planned, preventative maintenance and servicing contracts on all our air conditioning and ventilation units for your peace of mind.
We offer all our customers full continuity with our air conditioning and ventilation maintenance contracts "on all new contracts" and "on all new installations" as well as planned maintenance contracts for customers who already have air conditioning, ventilation and heating units.
To conform to the latest F gas regulations, we offer regular leak checks with all contracts.
Why maintain your Air Conditioning Units?
Apart from the obvious benefits of maintaining any mechanical equipment, it is a statutory obligation and a duty of care to have all air conditioning units checked or assessed. This is designed to improve the efficiency and reduce consumption, operating costs and carbon emissions for all systems.
All air conditioning systems with an effective rating of more than 12Kw must be regularly inspected by an energy assessor with a maximum of 5 years apart. For all systems first put into service on or after 1 January 2008 the first inspection must take place within the first 5 years.
It is also a legal requirement due to the Montreal Protocol (EC1005/2009) that all air-conditioning systems containing CFC and HCFC refrigerant gases (Fluorinated greenhouse gases) are leak tested on a regular basis and records made of any such leaks or repairs. Systems containing 3Kg (small split systems individual offices) must be checked once per 12 months and systems containing 30Kg or more (VRF systems multiple offices off one out door unit) are checked once per 6 months.
All our engineers are gas trained to City and Guilds standards which enables us to carry out these checks and provide our clients with the certification they require for their audits.
